Step 01
Check Remote & Wall Console Power
Confirm your opener is receiving electricity and the wall console lock-switch isn't activated. If the wall button light is blinking, the vacation lock mode may be engaged. Replace remote batteries or check your breaker box.

Step 02
Inspect for Broken Springs Above the Door
Look above the top section of your closed door. If there is a 2-inch separation in the wound metal coils, your spring is broken. Do NOT attempt to operate the opener or pull the emergency cord forcefully.

Step 03
Clear Safety Optical Sensors
If your door begins closing and immediately reverses or flashes the opener lights, check the LED indicator lights on both bottom photo-eyes. Wipe off snow, dust, or spiderwebs and ensure sensors point directly at each other.

Step 04
Handling Off-Track or Jammed Doors Safely
If the door is crooked or a roller has jumped the track, stop pressing buttons immediately. Continuing to activate the motor can burn out the drive gears, bend tracks, or cause the door to crash down dangerously.
